In just a few weeks, I'll be heading off to Copenhagen. Thanks to the wonderful folks at the UNC Center for International Understanding and the contributors to the Borchardt award for arranging this trip and selecting me to participate. As I'm winding down the year and preparing to send my seniors off into the world, I'm trying to find time to prepare myself for my trip. My two prevailing emotions right now: excitement over what I'm going to do and anxiety that I'm not going to get everything ready in time (but more excited than anything).
I'll be posting updates as I prepare to head off, and--technology and time willing--I'll be posting daily while I'm there. I hope that this trip can stretch beyond my own experience and serve as an opportunity for my students, colleagues, and friends to learn about a unique and fascinating corner of the world. So, let's do this!
